When I enable Split mode on my ES110 or ES120, the lower section sound doesn't sustain with the damper pedal — is this normal?

Yes — in Split mode, the damper pedal is configured by default to affect only the upper (right-hand) section.

Yes, this is the expected behaviour. On the ES110 and ES120, when Split mode is active, the damper pedal is configured by default to affect only the upper (right-hand) section of the keyboard. The lower section does not respond to the damper pedal.

If you would like the damper pedal to affect both sections simultaneously, consult your owner's manual for instructions on adjusting the Split mode damper pedal configuration.
