The page turning feature requires sostenuto pedal functionality. On AR/ATX pianos, the soft pedal can be temporarily reconfigured as a sostenuto pedal.
The page turning feature in PiaBookPlayer uses the sostenuto pedal for hands-free page turns. AR/ATX upright hybrid instruments do not offer sostenuto pedal functionality by default, so page turning is limited.
To work around this, it is possible to reconfigure the AR/ATX's soft pedal to function as a sostenuto pedal: While the piano is turned off, depress and hold the soft pedal, then turn on the AR/ATX control box, then release the soft pedal. The soft pedal will now function as a sostenuto pedal, enabling page turning in PiaBookPlayer.
To restore the soft pedal to its normal function, turn the AR/ATX control box off and on again.
