Biography
Joshua Levy is an award-winning pianist, arranger, and composer from Los Angeles. Active in the industry for over thirty-five years, he’s served as pianist, arranger, and musical director for the Grammy-nominated, platinum-selling group Big Bad Voodoo Daddy for thirty years. A graduate of the University of Southern California Thornton School of Music, early success came with his piano trio winning the 1996 John Coltrane Young Musicians and Artists Competition.
With Big Bad Voodoo Daddy, Josh has traveled the world, appeared before millions of people, and worked with many of the industry's finest musicians, engineers, producers, and conductors. Notable appearances have included the Super Bowl XXXIII Halftime Show, The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Late Night with Conan O’Brian, and concerts with The Los Angeles Philharmonic, The National Symphony Orchestra at Kennedy Center, and The Hollywood Bowl Orchestra.
Josh also maintains a busy freelance schedule as a pianist, composer, arranger and orchestrator.
