Kawai K5000W/S/R System Ver. 3.00 Enhancements 1) Adds "Phrase Demo" feature. Press the two Section buttons simultaneously (or the two Track buttons on the W) to enter Phrase Demo mode. Press exit to leave Phrase Demo mode. Each single patch will have it's own demo phrase. Patches can be selected using the value dial or the R3 & R4 buttons. Press F8 to toggle between start and stop. Sounds can be played while in demo mode. Chain play will cycle through all the demo phrases one after another, individual will repeatedly play the selected single patch's demo phrase. 2) Octave up/down buttons now function in realtime while playing the keyboard. (only W) 3) Tap Delay has been fixed. 4) The Patch name/number display in Combi/Multi Write has been fixed. 5) Knob settings will not affect the first patch on power up. (only S) 6) Knob edits made to a patch will now be properly saved to disk. (only S) 7) Editing the Poly/Solo settings no longer resets the knob settings. (only S) 8) Combi/Multi Master Volume setting has been moved to the Edit/Common page. 9) The harmonic selection cursor in the DHL screen and the Band selection cursor/box in the DFL screen will move rapidly when you hold down the R3/R4 buttons. 10) The effects algorithm page in Combi/Multi edit mode now looks the same as Single edit effects algorithm page. (Effect path for each section is now displayed). 11) Effects may now be bypassed by pressing the L4 button. 12) Transmit Program/Bank Select (in System mode) functions properly. 13) APG Style data can now be selected using the F3-6 buttons. Tempo and Loop ON/OFF can now be adjusted directly in APG mode. Loop settings are retained between Compose and APG. 14) Expression pedal is now assignable to other CC#'s. (volume, panpot etc.). 15) Internal Protect defaults to ON after System disk load (however, user settings are memorized at power off). 16) Track Initial effects settings are now active on tracks 17-40. 17) Direct Disk Play may now be accessed from any screen by the Disk Play button.
