USB Audio and Storage

USB to Host and USB to Device functionality allow the CP instruments to save and load a variety of songs and user data. These include songs recorded in the CPs internal format as well as Standard MIDI Files (SMF). User data such as registrations, sounds, styles, and EQs can all be saved to a USB memory device and loaded back into the instrument at any time.

Additionally, the CP209/179/139 can play and record digital audio via a USB device. Users can play and record WAV or MP3 audio. Even external sounds and vocals can be recorded by using the MIC or Line-In jacks.
