Tone
The CN22 features our newest version of our acclaimed Harmonic Imaging Sound Technology, now with 88-key piano sampling. The CN32 and CN42 models step up to Progressive Harmonic Imaging with 88-key piano sampling.

Touch
The CN series uses our new Advanced Hammer Action IV-F (AHAIV-F), an 88-note, graded hammer action with superb feel and sensitivity.

Dual Mode
All CN series instruments have a Dual Mode in which two sounds are played at the same time.

Split Mode
The CN32 and CN42 offer a Split mode in which one sound plays on the left of the keyboard and another sound plays on the right side.

Balance Slider
Both the CN32 and CN42 offer a unique Balance Slider on the panel. Use the slider to control the volume balance in a Dual or Split keyboard mode.

4-Hands Mode
All CN models have a unique 4-Hands Mode in which two identical 44-note pianos are setup on the keyboard – great for piano lessons or for duets.

Headphone Jacks
All CN instruments possess two headphone jacks, allowing two persons to listen to the piano in privacy.

Sliding Key Cover
All Kawai CN models have built-in sliding key covers to protect the keyboard from dust and debri when the istrument is not in use.

Pedals
All CN models have three pedals – soft, sostenuto, and damper (with half-damper capability) – just like our grand pianos.

Metronome
All three CN models offer a handy built-in digital metronome with a variety of time signatures, perfect for practice. All models can control the tempo, while the CN32 and CN42 can also control the volume of the metronome.

Drum Rhythms
The CN42’s metronome also features 100 built-in drum rhythms in a variety of musical styles. Tempo and volume of the drum beats can also be controlled.

Alfred Lesson Songs
All 3 CN models have built-in lesson songs from Alfred Publishing’s top piano method books. The CN22 features songs from one first-year childrens book while the CN32 has two children books and the CN42 has two children and one adult book.

Concert Magic
All CN models feature Kawai’s exclusive Concert Magic, a unique way for anyone to enjoy the thrill of playing the piano, even if you’ve never played before!

Recorder
All CN model feature an easy to use Recorder. The CN22 offers 1-Track / 1-Song capability while the CN32 and CN42 step up to 2-Track / 3-Song.

Jacks
All CN models come with MIDI jacks useful for connecting with other musical instruments and computers. The CN32 and CN42 also feature stereo Line In and Line Out jack plus USB jacks.

USB to Device
The CN42’s USB to Device capability allows for the storage of performances to USB memory devices. You can even play and record Standard MIDI Files (SMF) with the powerful 16-track USB recorder.
