Kawai Artist Performs "Goldberg Variations"

Rancho Dominguez, CA • February, 2012 – Kawai Artist Junko Garrett impressed the audience at Tampa Bay’s Carrollwood Cultural center recently with a rousing performance of J.S. Bach’s “Goldberg Variations”. The demanding 70-plus minute performance was given on a Shigeru Kawai grand piano. “This was the second time to play on SK with Goldberg Variations for the 2011-12 season. The first one was at LA Bach Festival in October 2011”, states Ms. Garrett. “The journey of Goldberg Variations and Bach's deep music goes so well with SK's honest and transparent sound. Both times the audience was mesmerized, touched and moved by the music and the sound of piano. (The) Shigeru Kawai (piano) gives me an inspiration to create music in very high level.”
